Shannon O’Brien is the President of Abundance Naturally, a Canadian supplier of Australian health and wellness products. In just three short years, her family-owned company has responded to market demand for natural, high-quality health and wellness products for the whole family that work. Fresh and forward thinking, Shannon’s mission to provide consumers and retailers with only the best premium health and wellness products was born out of her desire to use only the safest products on her children, Rachel, 11 and Dylan, 8.

With a background in the business side of the paper and sanitation industry, the leap to health and wellness was sizeable, but also invigorating for Shannon. Spending days at a time reading and learning about the benefits of natural products allowed Shannon to realize her mission: to teach moms and Canadians to be conscious of the quality of the ingredients they put in and on their bodies and to provide consumers with an alternative to typical choices.

Shannon’s brother Casey, a resident of Australia, alerted her to his discovery of several great products from down under. The natural ingredients and fresh philosophy to health and wellness of these products intrigued Shannon – the timing was ideal.

In 2008, Abundance Naturally was formed to be the Canadian gateway to Australian health and wellness products. Now operated by Shannon and her two sisters – Patty, Business Coach turned Sales Manager and Erin, once a stay-at-home mom, now an active member of the Abundance Naturally team. The trio love working together and find satisfaction in providing consumers with products that they themselves have tried, tested and used on their families.

Since 2008, Abundance Naturally has provided Canadians with a gateway to top quality Australian health and wellness products. Among others, Abundance Naturally is the supplier of product lines such as Thursday Plantation (tea tree oil), Bellaboo (teen and tween skincare) and eco.kid (kids’ hair and skin care). A wholesaler to major retail outlets such as Loblaws, products are also available direct to consumers through the website’s online store.

The Mississauga, Ontario-based family owned and operated business was born out of the desire to give Canadians access to an array of natural, Australian products that are free of chemicals and foreign ingredients and to encourage consumers to choose clean, pure products.

Suppliers of product lines for babies, children, teens and adults, Abundance Naturally prides itself on selling only products that they themselves have tried, tested and use on themselves and their families. Free of harsh chemicals and other man made ingredients, this young company also hopes to educate consumers about the benefits of using natural products and the need to be conscious of what they’re putting into and onto their bodies.
